Statement
Faced with social isolation, I found a new direction in my artistic practice, exploring new media and deepening my dialogue with geometry and urban space. That challenging period led me to dive into the essence of form and structure, drawing inspiration from the lines and patterns that shape my everyday surroundings.
My work brings together two distinct interests: the observation of urban transformations over time and the artistic experimentation I develop in my studio. During my walks through the city, I absorb the urban space through photography and often collect scraps of wood, slats, and discarded frames. These fragments build a repertoire of materials whose past uses are now distant or unknown.
When brought into the studio, these elements gain new meaning. They become protagonists in my work — transformed into visual narratives that give voice to forgotten materials. Through this practice, I reflect on impermanence and the beauty that lives in the invisible layers of the urban landscape. My process is always in flux, shaped by the changes and tensions of the world around me.
